Known Issues

• Some users have reported connectivity issues with ScrapBook. These issues include difficulty with batch picture uploads, problems with thumbnail generation, intermittent difficulties viewing ScrapBook styles, and problems with inserting images into entries. Developers have been notified and will be investigating the issue. In the meantime, please try refreshing ScrapBook pages if they are displaying correctly, as will often load the "missing" images or pages.


• Access to the TxtLJ service via Verizon Wireless is currently unavailable. LiveJournal staff are working to restore this service. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please watch the lj_releases community for updates. While this problem is being worked on, you may wish to post via e-mail from your phone instead.


• After the recent upgrade of LiveJournal's OpenID client, some users have been unable to use their LiveJournal OpenID identities on other websites. Developers are aware of this problem and are working on a fix to be implemented soon. Please watch the lj_releases community for updates.


• The combination of lj-cuts and aligned text in entries composed in the Rich Text Editor can result in problems such as multiple lj-cuts appearing where there should only have been one, some content not being cut that should have been cut, and </div>s being added to the entry. LiveJournal developers are aware of these problems and are working to resolve them.


• LiveJournal developers are aware that some users have been reporting problems with incorrect userpics displaying. If you are having any problems with the userpics displaying incorrectly, please clear your browser's cache. If this does not resolve the problem, please open a support request containing links to all the affected userpics. Please be assured that your userpics have not physically been replaced, nor does it mean that anyone has accessed your account.


• Voice Post calls using access numbers outside the United States may be disconnected after 60 seconds. If this happens, your Voice Post will still be posted with the default Voice Post security level (FAQ 183). This is not an issue with LiveJournal, but with a third party vendor. LiveJournal Staff are working closely with the vendor to resolve this issue in as timely a manner as possible.


• If you are not receiving email notifications, please see the troubleshooting information here. You may also wish to report the problem to your email provider. You can also subscribe to be notified through the LiveJournal Inbox in addition to email.


• If your journal, Friends page, or other page on the site is not appearing to update properly, please clear your browser cache and see if that resolves the problem before opening a request.
